All depends on how you drive the car. I have seen many break things with a stock car.
At one time i was happy with 412 at the tires.
Then I went with a pro charger and was happy with 546 at the tires.
Got used to that and built a 408 with the same s/c, 650 at the tires.
To control it I stepped down to 273 gears.
I don't street light to street light, i do 80 mph roll outs and eat big bikes on the hwy. With my gearing I get 135 mph out of 3rd and 194 out of 4th.
I then dropped my pulley size on the head unit to increase my boost to 15+ lbs and was in the 750 rwhp range but eating belts on the roll out with all the torque, not wearing them but snapping them.
Last month I sold my procharger and got a sts system but upgraded it with twin 57 trim ball bearing Garret turbos with 12lb springs in the wastegates.
My car is in the shop getting new paint right now along with wider rear fenders to handle the 335/30/20 ps2s.
But 2 weeks ago on I4 on my home from Greg's at just over 100 mph in 3rd I broke the tires lose with a bit of a fishtail.
Boost contrler on the way to get me to 18/20 lbs.
When will it be enough, when it scares me............................................

Jeesus Tom! Fishtailing at 100 mph DIDN'T scare you?? Don't get yourself killed looking for the scare zone....
