Got my V8 Colorado
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picked up my V8 Colorado crew cab this past weekend at Stingray Chevy. This is the 3LT ZQ8 sport package with the nice 18" wheels and lowered somewhat. While i was waiting for the paper work i was treated to viewing at least 50 Vettes they had in the showroom and outside. Don't think i've ever seen that many Vettes at any of my local dealers before. So far the truck seems to drive nice and soild and quite, too quite for my taste, as i want to hear the V8. I have yet to get on it since it has under 200miles, but the 5.3 seems to feel pretty strong. It is Sheer silver with leather seats and heated seats. First mods are window tint for the two front side windows since the back windows are already tinted, and a Flowmaster or whatever else would give the V8 some sound. Then after about 1500 miles it goes to Greg for a dyno tune. |
Alright. We are in the 5.3 club together now:lmao: Casey is actually putting one in his SS camaro right now because of the car below.

Flowmaster "40 series" sounded great on my C4 Vette. I loved them. The sound actualy helped sell the car according to the buyer as he loved it too. I have B&B Bullets on my C5, and I don't know of anything like that for the trucks.

Forget Flowmaster and baffles...go Magnaflow with a straight-through muffler. I've got a single 3" magnaflow on my truck and love it. Can't wait to get them on the vette.

I second that. I use to be a flowmaster junkie until I got a magnaflow.

I agree Magnaflow is a great product!
