Split second

I own a 2007 C6 automatic with paddle shifter, what I am experiencing is that when I step on the gas to the floor it takes a split second before it relates the information to my rear wheels. Is this car fly by wire? Will a custom tune relieve this problem? Thanks :D

Yes, it is fly by wire, and it sounds like you are experiencing torque management. Tunes will typically remove the majority of this, depending on what performance level you desire.
