June 1, 2019 possible tropical system in the Gulf
Long term forecasts are showing a possible development of a tropical storm system in the Gulf of Mexico. Bears keeping an eye on it.

And so it begins.....I'm thinking winters in Florida and summers in Tennessee.

I don't see how with high pressure dead locked in for weeks. It is gonna be hot and dry for a long time.
|
Granted, it IS a week and a half away and it IS a forecast, but Ventusky seems to be relatively accurate about such things.

Be careful what you ask for!

False alarm. Ventusky isn't showing anything developing in their long term forecast now.... :shrug01:
Unfortunately that is also showing NO precipitation here in north Florida in the foreseeable future too. Things are getting awfully dry around here. |

Well, it looks like that disturbance is bringing a lot of rain into Texas, and then moving eastward towards the north Florida area over the weekend. Got some cooler temps coming along with it too.

Have not had a drop in over 3 weeks.
