Jeremy Formato

Let me tell you guys, this guy is the MAN!

The original plan was for him to tune our cars on June 2nd and 3rd, and that's exactly what he did and more.

On Friday, the schedule was for him to tune mine and racefaceboy's car, he did so in a very timely manner and also ported racefanboy's intake manifold, he had HUGE gains, he'll tell you more when he feels like it. Jeremy really took his time and worked every little detail out for all of us in the two days. At the end of Friday, after dinner with the goat crew, he suggested that we go Electric Cart Racing and boy was that awesome! EVeryone that went to that group had an absolute blast, and it was awesome to see Doc and him go head to head for the prize.

On Saturday he spent litterally the ENTIRE DAY, from 10am-9pm working on my buddy Malko's TA, DocGTO's car (which made amazing gains btw hehe doc), my corvette, and Brian Hentz's car.

Formato is an absolute stand up guy and I suggest that anyone in the FL area or whenever he flies anywhere that needs tuned, give this man a call.

It seems to me that I sent him an invitation to join our group here. I think he would have been an interesting addition to our club.

Good luck bro. I've sent him 2 PM's and he's never responded to either one:shrug01:

Definately knows his stuff from baseline up, but I understood that there was a very serious issue that recently arose with a Z06 owner in the area?

That aside, I wish he were a bit more responsive to his PM's...:nonod:

Jeremy definately knows his ****, and he's actually looking for more corvette clients.

The reason why he's not as responsive with PMs is because he rarely is able to get to a computer, he's off litterally being flown all over the states to tune peoples cars. The best way to get a hold of him is to give him a call, he picks up 90% of the time and the times he doesn't, if you leave a name and number he'll call you back.

I heard about the Z06 thing too and he explained to me what happened, and I really can't say that deterred me from getting tuned by him in the future or have other work done. He's tuned for me 4 times now and has done miscllaneous work for me, for example yesterday after he tuned the corvette he noticed that my car was basically still stock, so he offered to grind down the shifter and cut a hole so that air can actually get to my intake, for a very very low price, i didn't even ask him to. Just simply an outstanding guy, I can't just say enough about him.

I realize he has a decent rep and all that. I also know that all we (you/me or anyone not present or directly involved in the incident) know is hearsay. I try to avoid it. Gossip is a bad thing. I don't work well with hearsay.

I prefer facts, so I think I'll wait for the dust to settle over on Z06 forum and see what shakes out:thumbsup:

I'm curious though? If he doesn't have access to a computer, how does he tune?:rofl1:

Later...:vette:

What I mean is he doesn't go on the internet often to check every forum out, like I said, he does this ALL day, by the end of the day he's tired and has a pregnant wife, then the next day comes and he's out tuning again. I don't blame him for not answering a couple of PMs but he provides his numbers everywhere, a simple phone call is not hard to do.

Also not everyone is flawless, I can't defend everything that Jeremy does, but I'm sure people have made mistakes well before him that are far worst.

Yep, everybody screws up sometime...we're all human:thumbsup:

As I've said over and over again, this ain't no HALO, it's a GLARE!:rofl1:

After personally having him tune my car, I can say he will never get anywhere near it EVER. Multiple bad experiences with his tuning of my (at the time STOCK) car. Don't want to be the bad guy here, just letting you know. He did refund the tuning fee after almost a year.
