What this forum is all about...

I brought this up a while back, asking members what they thought about a general purpose FOR SALE and WANTEDS section for everyone here, and the response was overwhelmingly in favor. Been holding off putting it up thinking I could get these HUGE speaker systems I want to get rid of photographed and open this up with those offerings....... But just couldn't get around to taking the photos.

But in any event, here it is, regardless.

This is really for stuff that is NON CORVETTE related in nature. There is already a forum on this site for CORVETTE stuff, so there is no need to duplicate stuff in both forums. This is for odd ball stuff you may be thinking about getting rid of and want to offer to fellow CorvetteFlorida members. In my case, I just don't want to ship those speakers, so I figure keeping the offering to Florida only is reasonable to do.

Anyway, hope this proves worthwhile and interesting to you all. Sorry about the delay getting it up and running.............. :shrug01:

I doubt these will work. That are BIG floor standing models for a home stereo system. Three pairs in all, each pair a different brand and capabilities. I'll post more about them later when I can get photos and write out the details.

Oh, I do have a HUGE 18 inch component speaker that needs to be reconed. It would make the basis of a KILLER subwoofer. :hehehe: Used it in a special speaker cabinet I built for my Moog synthesizer in the days when I played keyboards in a band.

You know, they just might work ! I could put air suspension on my '52, put 30" wheels with hubcaps that never stop spinning on it and take out the rear seat and mount your speakers and sub-woofer. Of course, I would download all the old time country music I could find and every time I was at a stoplight and couldn't hear because of some of that rap crap:thumbsdown: I could just light em up and let " My Cheatin' Heart" blast :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

LOL!! Acually yes, I did. Had a B3 with TWO Leslie tone cabinets. Bad mistake selling that stuff, too, but I wanted to buy a brand new Grand Prix and needed the dough for it. Plus it was the only way I could guarantee that I wouldn't quit my day job and go back into playing music for a living.

I actually have a Ensoniq synthesizer around here somewhere, but haven't touched in in ages. Got frustrated with it because I've completely forgotten everything about playing the darn keyboard. Not that I was all that good beforehand..... Yeah, that's ANOTHER thing I need to sell in this section.....
