Ammo

Just saw 9mm, 115gr, Federal Ammo for $25, 50 round ct. if anyone is real desperate. I bought the same stuff about 8 months ago for $15 a box, same store. Owner says prices are coming down, I'll wait.

They also have a bunch of misc holsters for $15 each.

A few days ago I wanted to check on something at ammoman.com and he was sold out of just about everything. And anything he had in stock was darn expensive. Glad I wasn't in any need of more ammo. :nonod:

Yeah, I looked on Cheaper Than Dirt for .22 ammo this week. $149.00 for 500 rounds!?! Almost .30 cents a round for .22 ammo? I haven't bought any for a while and I don't remember what I paid last time, but that price is getting close to what I used to pay for .45!

Who would have thought Bobama would be the best gun and ammo salesman in our life time? He's responsible for the sale of more firearms and firearms related gear than anyone in recent memory.

I wonder if he will be held responsible for any deaths caused by the guns purchased under his watch?

Well, one problem with the situation now is that prices on guns and ammo could force them beyond the reach of many people for financial reasons. That is what the $200 tax stamp was supposed to do in 1934 for full automatic weapons. That tax stamp just about doubled the cost of the weapons. Interesting to note that $200 in 1934 was the equivalent of $3,400 today in 2013 dollars.

Wasn't there some sort of flap not that long ago about government agencies buying up BILLIONS of rounds of ammo? So if the government chooses to buy up nearly all the ammo using our tax dollars to do so, what will be the final result of that strategy? Yep, rising prices. Supply and demand sort of thing.
