NEED URGENT ADVICE: Will the 2004/2005 CTS-V LS6 Long Block Fit Easily in My 2001 Z06
I am seriously thinking of purchasing this LS6 CTS-V Long Block for my 2001 Corvette Z06 as a project motor that I'm going to build while running my current engines in a few club events and SCCA events here in Florida. I realize that this engine has the CTS-V oil pan but I am wondering if the accessory holes are there for when I take the pulleys off of my Z06 and put them on the long block. I've included a link with info on the engine and if you have the answer can you point me in to evidence that this is the case by providing first hand knowledge or a link that validates your advice? I don't want to buy this motor and find out it's a hassle for it to work easily in my 01 Z06 application.
Link to View Motor: http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pts/1276103583.html I am suppose to go look at the engine tomorrow so any help would be greatly appreciated. |
Contact Greg from AntiVenom, I know he did that swap.

Great Advice
Thank you to the last poster who pointed me to AntiVenom, Greg knew exactly the answer and now we're going to build a 450 rwhp track/street engine. Thanks again.
