TBV Meeting and Route 66 Night
 

Next TBV Meeting October 13, 2010 (7:00pm), To All TBV Members... Hi everyone just a quick note of interest. At this months meeting we have arranged to have a guest speaker. His name is Jim Rosin and he is one of the writers from the TV show Route 66. I'm guessing if you are a Corvette fan than you remember the series or at the ...very least heard of it. It ran from 1960 to 1964. He will be on hand to give his perspective on the show and afterward will be available for a little Q & A session. He has written a book on the subject and I sure he will have copies available for purchase. If you have ever been curious about the show I think this will be a don't want to miss evening. Meeting Facility The regular monthly meeting will be held Wednesday @ Ferman Building. The building is located at 9839 Adamo. It's the building just east of the Mazda Dealership (old Harley Davidson facility) You may park in any free lot space or on the grass area in front of the building.

To All TBV Members (HOMECOMINGS)

We received a call today from SunLake High School in Land O Lakes, requesting 11 vehicles for their homecoming on Friday, October 15. Yay, one member has already volunteered.
If you have a convertible, or removable top coupe, won't you please consider stepping up to the plate and participating in 1 of the 3 homecomings now scheduled for this same night (Friday, Oct 15):
Sun Lake High School - Land O Lakes - 10 vehicles + 2 alternates
Durant High School - Plant City - still need 3 vehicles + 2 alternates
Bloomingdale High School - Valrico - still need 1 vehicle + 2 alternates
Again, we all have gorgeous vehicles and this is a chance to participate in a fund-raising activity for TampaBayVettes, while helping out the schools.
Note to new members - if you've never participated in a TampaBayVettes' function, this is a great way to get to know other club members. :hehehe:
