Cold temps staying

Looks like we will have a string of about 11 days of very cold weather. This is very rare to see highs in the 50's and lows in the 30 for more than 3 days at a time.
It may warm up to around 63 on thurs before the next front.

We may have snow or freezing rain thursday night to friday morning, man that sucks. I remember now I moved here for the weather :banghead:
hopefully I will get the truck and vette washed tomorrow afternoon when it warms up to 49 .

We will pray for a cold day come Aug when it's mid 90's.

Ain't that the truth! It gets hotter(and more humid)up here than it does in central/south Florida. I try to never complain about it being cold here. I can always put on more clothes, but in the summer, you can only take so many off!

When Connie and I drove past the local Walmart today, I saw a water pipe that had apparently burst from the freezing temps last night. I expect this will become commonplace over the next several days. Normally the days would warm up significantly during the day after a hard freeze to keep problems like this from happening. But a long string of freezing temps, with barely warming temps during the day is going to wind up being a REAL problem. People just aren't used to something like this. Which reminds me, I have to go out and drip those faucets again. I notices a leaking crack on the outside shower valve yesterday, which fortunately is on the air side of the valve and not the pressure side. 37 degrees right now and dropping.

BTW, with this long string of freezing temps, I hope everyone has anti-freeze in the radiator. If all you have is water in there, you will likely have some problems one of these cold mornings when you crank it up.
