Help wanted!

Anyone out there willing to spend some time to keep the events calendar up to date? One of our members filled in a lot of data a while back, but I fear that some events are going to be missed because they just aren't listed there.

So anyone willing to lend a hand and tackle this project? Be the CorvetteFlorida Calendar Head Honcho?

If no one else is interested, I'll be happy to give it a shot.

Just let me know?

Gordon, sure, I would welcome your help, but aren't you pretty busy much of the time? Maybe a couple of people pitching in would keep the calendar accurate and up to date. Actually anyone can post an event there, as there is nothing special that has to be done to give someone those privileges.

So if you learn of an event, please go ahead and post it for us all, in case we might also be interested in attending.

Thanks.

I thinks it's a great idea to have more than one person handeling it. I can do it in the evenings and at night (usually posting late at night and early in the am (4-6 am) but as you said, any one can post on there.

If you want, maybe Sandman and I can keep an eye on it so it doesn't get crowed or screwed up and just let whoever has an event post it up:thumbsup:

Hows that?

Well the whole point of the calendar is to be a handy reference for us all to use to see what's cooking for events we may want to attend. Info is scattered all over the net and it's just pretty tough not missing something that way. Heck, I know I have missed some events just because I didn't know about them in time.

I think we need a few people who will actively seek out this info and try to keep the calendar accurate and complete.

So yeah, anyone who knows of an event is encouraged to let us ALL know about it. Posting the event on the calendar would be pretty much an invitation to everyone here to consider attending the event. Which, I think, would certainly be in everyone's best interests.

Sure! Sounds great! Please try to scrape together as many events as you guys can find so we all don't miss out on some. Connie comes into the den every week and wants to check the calendar to see if there is a show we can go off to. So there certainly may be others in the same boat.

Thanks!

I am working on September to see if I can add more events. Do you want them from all over the state? Also do you want us to encroach on some other events with my Local vette clubs? We have them a lot here in Jacksonville. I can add them to the calender.
