Firearms section?
 

I was wondering if a firearms section could be opened much much like an arms locker website you had, but as in this website it would be local. Tried going to the new arms locker and not a fan of the new setup.

Im sure a lot of us here are avid shooters, or collectors of some sort.

Yeah, I'm all for it, but I don't want to open up another forum if it won't be used much. So chime in if you're willing to pitch in and make a new forum of this type on this site work.

Me too. I just thought it was a "who might use it" thread, and I was just saying that I personally would skip it. There is a whole seperate site for the topic that Rich already runs. If they want a firearms section here it's no skin off my nose. :thumbsup:

Looks to me like it's 50/50 so far but what is bothersome is only a few of us have even replied. I thought it would be a good idea because you wouldn't have to go to multiple sites and I thought it would help build traffic on this site.

There's another thread where someone asked about the length allowed for a knife and no one has shown any interest in posting. I guess the only way to find out if a firearms section would be used is to try it.

I thought he either shut down or sold Armlocker?

Yes, I sold ArmsLocker a little while back. I was actually surprised that the guy offered me as much money as he did for it, as I was already talking about shutting it down anyway. But I guess he was smart enough to realize that he had a much better chance of utilizing an existing site rather than starting one from scratch and have it survive.
