1st date anniversary ideas?

Ok...rapidly approaching the 1st anniversary of my first date with my girlfriend. She says it's not important, but I'm not your typical guy. I know better .. LOL..

any ideas for a gift and or date ideas?

Good thinking!

My wife and I celebrate this event by going back to where we had our first date. We met on Match.com and she wanted a "neutral" place so we opted for Sam's Beach Bar in Hudson. We go back every year on that date.

Smart guy!! "They" do remember!!!

Yeah, I thought of that and it's certainly an option. We met on match and met at a bar in carrolwood for the same reason.

There's a minor glitch though. Early in the summer, she was having some questions about whether she wanted a relationship.. we met at the same bar and I got the "I need some time" line. It didn't take long before she called me and we're still together. We haven't been back there since. :)

More Northdale than carrolwood. It's a little hole in the wall near her house. We left that place and went to Ballyhoos for our 1st date - part 2 :) Used to be known as Beantown. It's changed hands now and has a different name, but basically the same bar.

I love to romance so I’m always looking for cool new things to do.
I found this Bed n Breakfast place in Ocala that has a Murder Mystery dinner.
We go with a group of people and it’s always a blast. You don't need a group to do it because there are other people staying there.

The rooms are so cool. They each have a different theme to them. You have to check out their web sight.

It’s very romantic and it has a bunch of history behind the house.

Here’s their web page. It’s called the Seven Sisters Inn.

For the gift, a Prada purse is always nice.

Good luck with the romance. :yesnod:

Good thing to remember any date with the wife and/or girl friend. As an old married guy, I can tell you that when they say something is not important, it really is. No special advice on what to do except try to think of something that she reallys likes to do and simply do it. Going forward, here's what I'd do. Send her flowers or pick up some little something and do it for no reason at all. Everyone expects something on special occasions so I just do little things out of the blue and for no reason at all. You'd be surprised how much she'll appreciate it.
