... I heard a caller suggest that a grass roots effort be started where each participant is to purchase at least one box of ammunition, then discard it. This will render guns useless since there is no ammo for the firearms. :shrug01:

Who are these people? Do they not know that the ammo companies will make more!? This makes as much sense as the gun ban. The ammo companies are saying, " Yeah, throw it away". I went to Wal-Mart yesterday. The ammo shelves were bare. I asked the clerk if they were having trouble getting any. He said no, he stocked the shelves that morning and they got bought out again.

Do it. The ammo companies would love the business.

But where are they going to discard all the ammo? In the trash? Yeah. I'm sure putting live ammo into trash trucks to be compacted is a really bright idea. :rolleyes:
