Now in its 11th model year, the Corvette team needed new ways to keep the car interesting until the C5 would arrive in a few years. With that in mind, Admiral Blue and Copper Metallic joined the Corvette color palette. Admiral Blue would go on to become one of the all-time favorite Corvette blues, but Copper Metallic wasn’t so fortunate.
