Drought......
Damn, we haven't had any rain to speak of around here since hurricane Hermine. And nothing really in the forecast neither. Great weather for getting out and taking a drive, but the citrus trees need to be watered to keep the tangerines and lemons from shriveling up. Oh yeah, mosquitoes are kind of sparse too.
We had a bunch of baby toads all over the place after the heavy rains from the hurricane, but they have vanished. Whenever we run the sprinklers on the fruit trees, birds flock in from everywhere to get a drink and a shower. |
kinda par for the season

Maybe see some rain by June. Gonna be a warm and dry winter and spring.
Have not had any real rain in 2 months so far. |
Yeah, this is the driest I have seen for this time of year around here. We usually get drought conditions in the Spring, but this is unusual. At least for the 25 years we have lived here.

No colder weather at all until this week. Fall gets warmer every year and winters are getting much warmer.

Works for me. I never had much use for cold weather. I'm actually rooting for "global warming". :hehehe: |
