fraud on Flee!

I want to report a fraud on the flee. It is item# 180485346505 it is a red 65 coupe in Atlanta. The seller is offering it as an original car. It is NOT original and he knows it. I drove all the way up there to look at it and find it to be the wrong engine. The engine was cast in May65 and the Car was built in Dec. 1964 .. What really gets me is the seller said he didn't know the engine was wrong. Now he re-lists it a week later........:banghead:

It is back on the FLEE. The jerk that bought it is using almost the same words as the guy that had it before. This time it is in Kentucky.. Buyers beware this car is a fraud............:banghead:

The first guy was in Kenneshaw GA. He sold it to this guy in Kentucky who claims to be an NCRS master judge. He either needs to go back to school or get his glasses changed if he is a Red Hat!:shrug01:

:banghead: This dude has got a bid of 38k on this fraudulent car. What is going to happen when the buyer gets it home and finds out that it is not original or numbers matching.. I hope he sues THE FLEA BAG AND THE SELLER. I have notified the Flea and it is in thier court now...........

is the brake reservoir stock ?
I don't recall seeing that one before.
The description doesn't say restored or refurbished.
Not a bad looking car.
Since it's not a numbers car , may as well make a pro-tourer out of it.
Well at least some suspension, steering and an LS motor anyway.:rofl1:

tls630 04-30-2010 09:43 AM

It is a nice driver. No the brakes have been up-dated.

They were nice drivers - then-
Now that we have so much better, they are nice for posing.
My 79 is fun, but not cross country , thats why I have a C-5 too, in case I actually want to go somewhere.
I had 2 - 66's , a 59 and 61, 71 , 87, All drove better than the one before.
Don't get me wrong I love a 66 coupe ( I always had convertibles except for the 79).
If I did get a 66 I would make it a pro-touring car so it would be as comfortable as the 01, yet look kewl.
I'm glad there are purists, just not me.:wavey:

I started to say no right away, but after looking a bit, maybe they arent that bad.
Lots of others offer kits for the 54 conversion and 57/58 body overs too.
It would have to be a helluva wreck before I would do that to a C-5 too.
They are fantastic looking on their own.(but still a girls car)

I mean .. remember when you were young enough that 4 speeds and fast cars were all it takes ?
When you rode around with the top down, cigarertte hanging outta yer mouth, cold beer in one hand the other wraped around yer girl and bangin gears ? Who in the hell wanted an automatic, plush ridin car ????

AAAhhhh but I digress :banghead:
