Euro tail light wiring question

---PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED---

I failed to do step #8 and #9 on this DIY page:

http://www.c5forum.com/diy/reareuro/

I purchased Euro tail lights from a fellow Vette owner and they arrived safe and sound. When I wired them up I noticed that the lights don't illuminate in the order I was looking for.

When the parking lights/head lights are turned on the red area (white bulb) illuminates. -Correct-

When I use the turn signals/4 way hazard lights the yellow bulb in the lower part of the Euro lens lights up -Correct-

-The problem-
When I hit the brakes both bulbs light up. The bulb in the upper red part of the lens as well as the yellow bulb in the lower part of the lens. I want the yellow to stay turned off when I am on the brakes. I only want the upper red part to illuminate. The yellows should only come on with the turn signals.

Can anyone help me with the wiring diagram/and or/explanation information necessary to make this happen? I have seen it on other Vettes the way I am looking to make it happen on mine.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.
