Lifetime #49 - January 1992 (I joined as a Founding Member in January, 1990 - though NCM doesn't seem to wanna count that time for my membership years...)
|
I was a family member for four years until they pissed me off at the ZFest last year.
They are all about money and do not REALLY care about the people that are supporting them. |

I'm open to discussing your particular issue if you'd like, but it would be best to take that off-line - feel free to PM me. If I can help in any way, I will. As to what the NCM is "all about", I'd have to respectfully disagree. Since inception, the NCM is dedicated to educating the public through the preservation of the Corvette’s past, present and future heritage. As a a non-profit, “member-driven” foundation, they don't receive boat loads of corporate support, and need to rely on the enthusiasm and generosity of the members to carry on the mission and grow to serve future generations. Fundraising is key to that effort. On a broader perspective, I'd like to encourage everyone that has had the opportunity to attend an NCM event to take a few minutes and fill out the Event Survey (http://www.corvettemuseum.com/survey/index.shtml) - Your constructive feedback is important to the staff in planning for and improving future events! |
:wavey: We are now LIFETIME MEMBERS of the NCM:thumbsup: Although i'm not sure what # we are.?
Spent some time talking to the good people who were representing the NCM at the UCP, and we decided to take the plunge.:dancer01: Not to mention, I wasn't aware a person could make payments on their Life Time membership. Also, those who've been paying membership dues annually for individual or family memberships, could apply the monies they've spent in the past (on membership dues) towards the Lifetime membership fee.? Atleast that's what I was told yesterday at the UCP. |

And, yes, the folks at the NCM are willing and open to working out a plan on a Lifetime Membership that takes prior membership into consideration and meets the individual's budget. Anyone interested exploring Lifetime Membership should contact Stephanie Morrill by phone at 800-53-VETTE or via email at stephanie@corvettemuseum.com Better yet, due to a partnership with the Automotive Museums Group (AMG) to provide reciprocal benefits to NCM Lifetime Members, you receive free admission to the following museums:
