With two nice kids and a pretty little wife.
Then this Corvette (they call it a C4)
Came to live at my front door..
If I knowed then what I know now,
I'd have waved her on with a polite little smile.
She was bright Red, all shiny and sassy
It took one look at her cute little chassis
To steal my heart in an instant flash,
(And at the same time, took most of my cash.)
I drive her around with tons of pride
But comments from ricers are sometimes snide,
"You know, you look just like a clown,
Driving with one headlight up and the other one down."
At times she causes my brain to muddle,
'Cause when it rains I always sit in a puddle.
She squeaks and groans, grunts and rattles

And keeping her cool is one of my battles.

It's always something, just the other day
I noticed her antenna don't go up all the way.
She's got a mind of her own and as is her won't,
Sometimes she starts and sometimes she don't.
As I labor and sweat on this old C4
I know there ain't no auto engineers in heaven.
They're in a far place with no light, real dark,
'Cause the're the sumbuns what give us Optispark.
I done told you all this so You'd know the score.
I really hope it don't make You sore.
Could you please make certain, even as we speak,
Nothing else breaks on the damn thing this week?

Sandman......that Vette took a hell of a beating for you! Glad you're ok! Now comes the FUN part...............shopping for the replacement. I hope you find one that you like (or maybe "one you can LIVE with") without a lot of looking/shoping/tire kicking.
