Moving threads
Just want to get some feedback about something. Often I will find a thread posted in a forum which isn't really best suited (in my opinion) for where it is located. So I will go ahead and move it to the forum which appears to be best for the subject matter of that thread.
Does this offend anyone? Not wanting to step on anyone's toes, and it's really not a life or death situation for me. I guess my thinking is that some year I just may want to FIND that particular post and it would certainly be easier to do if it were located in a forum category where I would most logically look for it. So am I stepping on anyone's toes by doing this? :shrug01: |
Not stepping on my toes...........

Hey, works for me too:)
Sometimes I post a thread and wonder if I actually put it in the right spot? I guess as long as the thread starter knows so he/she can still find it, works just fine:thumbsup: |
Doesn't bother me any. I was never any good at organizing! :ack2:

Rich,
Move if you think it is appropriate. We'll find it if it is important to us! |
OK, thanks. Sometimes what I will do is to leave a forwarding link in the forum the thread was originally posted in. After a while they may start cluttering up the forums and I will have to delete the forwarding links, but by then it shouldn't matter.
Also, if you have your profile set up to automatically subscribe to threads you create or reply to, you can always find them very easily that way. |
 Works for me
