Getting aluminum to *sparkle*
I actually have had a bottle of this stuff sitting in the cabinet for quite a while. I think I bought it when I was working on the cradles, but I must not have used it at all, as the bottle was sealed up when I pulled it out the other day. I've tried other aluminum cleaners in the past, and haven't really been impressed by them, so I really didn't have very high hopes when I applied this stuff to one of the panels underneath the gas tanks. Yeah, I know... Who will ever SEE the darn things? But would you expect anything less from someone insane enough to polish their drivetrain cradles? :Eyecrazy:

That stuff looks incredible! I wonder how long it will stay like that?

That's a nice finish. I have some aluminum on my old '68 Electraglide that would benefit nicely by that. Thanks!

Yeah, honestly when I wiped off the coating I applied, I was quite impressed with what I saw. I didn't have my hopes up very high, if at all, but I was certainly pleased with what I saw. So of course I went and ordered another bottle. Come to find out that have a couple of other products that sound interesting, so I ordered some of them as well to try them out.
It's just really OUTSTANDING to get a product or service that lives up to what they say it will do. And, unfortunately, seemingly getting to be a rarer experience than I would like. |
