2017 mileage on the vettes

Started working on my 2017 taxes, and started on the automobile figures. For last year, I put 628 miles on the C5Z, and 508 miles on the C6Z.

I think the gasoline in those gas tanks is several months old now. Maybe I need to drive them a bit more in 2018.

Rich, sounds like you need another trip to ......... like .............St. Augustine!
That would work.

Yeah, would like a meal at O'Steen's again. Of course, we would probably take the Jeep, since it is much easier finding a parking place and maneuvering the tight streets with the Wrangler.

Just the other day Connie was asking me if I was going to buy a new vette. But that would mean one of the vehicles in the garage would have to go. Connie's truck wouldn't be a candidate. Don't suspect we would get rid of the Jeep because it is just so handy to drive. Certainly wouldn't want to get rid of the blue C5Z after all I have been through with it. And would hate to get rid of the 2009 C6Z, since it is one of the last 427 vettes available from the factory.

So I'm guessing the answer to her question was likely "NO". Not unless GM comes out with something that REALLY catches my interest. If the 2019 ZR1 is any indication of the ricer direction that the Corvette with that funky bat wing on the back is headed, probably not likely.
