Help w/ (CompCams) & lifter sets

Hello everyone, Has anyone had any trouble with the ( Comp Cams) cam and lifter set?
I got a 350,bored 030 over,H618cp(speed pro)pistons. Summit rollers & Dart pro 1-72cc heads. breathing through a Street Avenger 770 w/ elec. choke.
For the life of me, I can't get the valves adjusted. The lifters won't bleed out. Popping up through the carb or exhaust. Played with this thing too long now. Hate to tear back into this motor to change cams.
All help please, thank you, Buckeyejack

Sounds like it is not degreed properly....or the springs are not the right match. PM me & I'll try to help out.

Thanks for responding to my questions. We've got it timed right and the springs are the matching ones for the cam.
We had a set of (World) double hump heads on it the first go around and the motor ran ok. When we put the Dart Pro 1's heads on we had trouble.

Are you adjusting the rockers while ideling? If so, loosen until it clacks loud, then slowly tighten until it stops...then 1 quarter turn at a time adjust 3/4 of a turn more. Move on to the next (assuming they are hydraulic). You can do this static not running. When the intake in just opening for a cylinder, adjust the exhaust, when the exhaust is just closing, adjust the intake. Loosen until rocker moves free, then slowly tighten until zero lash. Then 3/4 turn further. Move to the next.

Sounds like like they may be solids if you are having the issues you describe.
