Battery power mower
Just got my mower back from the shop and it is worse than it was before. Just done with gas mowers and going with a EGO mower i think.

Yeah, I've bought several EGO products over the past few months, and so far they are holding up pretty darn well for me. I think once our gasoline powered mower gives up the ghost I may also get an EGO battery powered mower as well. Connie seems to like the idea if for nothing more than the reduced noise from a battery powered mower.
But you might want to decide which model you want and then keep an eye out for Home Depot carrying it in stock. Apparently some items are pretty spotty for availability. Heck, I had to order a hedge trimmer attachment for my power head system from England because no one seems to have it in the USA. This thing is hell on wheels with underbrush. I'm actually thinking of ordering another one, just in case I wear this one out prematurely. |
I may get the push mower 21" version for $449. Home depot is only a mile away so i wonder if the box will fit enough in the back of my C6 to get it home?

Just order it and have it delivered. They likely offer free delivery anyway.
Oh, I guess you have checked, but in case you didn't spare EGO batteries are pretty pricey. In some cases it is more practical to just buy something else using the same battery. |
The box fit in the back of the C6 with the top left open. It worked like a dream on the first try. Just unboxed it and charged the batt for 20 mins and it worked like a dream. Just got it this afternoon. I don't have a big yard and i just did the back yard and the batt still showed a complete charge.
