"While I'm at it" suggestions....

Over the last 2 weeks or so, i have been getting parts together to do headers and LS6 intake swap on my 99.

This is what I already have:
TSP headers & x-pipe (in transit)
LS6 intake manifold
P&P throttle Body

I have an email into Gene @ GMPH.com for the following:
LS6 intake manifold coolant pipe
LS6 coolant plugs (2)
Exhaust manifold Gaskets

Question, will i need a TB gasket?
What else do you guys suggest i do while i have the exhaust out and intake off? Other mods or maintainence??

Thanks all

I bought a TB gasket when I replaced my TB, but didn't need it. From what I have heard, most people don't.

Have you gotten a TB coolant bypass kit? Not much to it, but maybe worth doing while you have everything else apart.

One other thing to consider. If you think you may want to play around with your own tuning sometime down the road, maybe getting WB O2 bung(s) welded on the headers may be worth while.
