When does this take place? I hope it takes place during a time I could get up to Kentucky, but I doubt I will be so lucky. I am pretty much tied up with my business from March thru October. :(

Geared Up for the Z06 Fest Event – July 20-22
Get ready for the Z06 Fest event – July 20-22 and enjoy everything you want and need at an event focusing on speed and performance! Back by popular demand and co-hosted by Z06VETTE.com, this exciting event brings together enthusiasts for three-days of festivities geared towards performance.

Drag racing, auto cross, tech sessions, seminars, road tours, a banquet and awards ceremony and much more are planned, with a special focus on the Z06 Corvette!

A road tour/lunch excursion to the Makers Mark Distillery is part of Thursday’s activities, in addition to a scenic driving tour, Museum tours, go-kart racing, Kentucky BBQ night and the event group photo. Commemorate your attendance at the event by participating in the group photo shoot to be staged at the 1869 Homestead. If you would like to take a tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant on either Thursday or Friday, please register online with the Corvette Plant and reserve your spot by clicking here. Tickets will not be available at NCM registration – so please reserve your spot if you plan to tour the Assembly Plant.

Friday’s lineup is packed full of activities and the day will begin seminars in the Chevrolet Theater and the people’s/celebrity choice car show! You can also place your bids in the silent auction filled with unique collectibles, attend the Moderators Forum and see “How slow can you go” in Slow Drags.

Saturday morning kicks off an exciting day of low-speed autocross at Beech Bend Raceway. Cost to participate is $25 per person - you must be pre-registered to participate – space is limited to only 40 participants. Spectators can pay a $5.00 “gate admission” payable at Beech Bend Raceway and watch the action. An afternoon for drag racing fans is planned beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Beech Bend Raceway. Cost to participate is $50 per person by pre-registration or watch as a spectator for $5.00 payable at Beech Bend.

If you would like to take in some of Kentucky’s interesting sites, you will want to be a part of the Flippin scenic road tour available by pre-registration or the shorter scenic tour later in the day. Then it’s time to get ready for the Z06 banquet and awards presentation at the Sloan Convention Center.

We look forward to having you for this year’s Z06 Fest – have a safe trip. We will see you soon! You must pre-register by 5:00 pm CT, July 10th to receive the commemorative event badge and dash plaque.

There are two florida caravans going up.

I am going up a day early on the 18th with about 5 others.

Bob Procter from the CF is leading a group on Thursday.

Aw hell. My birthday is July 21. But I seriously doubt I could get away... :(

That will be about the peak of my busy season around here.

I breed snakes for a living. :eek: I expect between 6,000 and 8,000 babies to hatch out this year. Peaking right around the end of July....

Here's my main business website -> http://www.SerpenCo.com

Yeah, odd, I know, but it pays the bills. :D

Well, nothing I work with is big nor dangerous. Matter of fact the species I specialize in is native to Florida. The corn snake. Anyone living in a fairly rural area has probably seen at least one.

My wife WIGGED when she saw a ?Blue Garder? in our pool. Thing was on the hose for the creepy crawly cleaner. When I tried to scoop it out with the skimmer net it swam to the bottom and hung out. I got it into a bucket to get it identified by a local store. I wanted to make sure it wasn't related to a moccasin or something like that. I'm not up on different snakes except the one with the rattles on it's tail. LOL
