Not a movie review...FIOS
 

This is not a review of a movie but not too far off topic.

Last week I had Verizon Fios installed and WOW what a difference from not-so-brighthouse cable Digital HD. The improvement of picture quality is remarkable. While there are quite a few more channels provided by Verizon, most of them are not on my favorites list.

What I was more concerned with was picture quality and audio. The FIOS is 'clearly" better. I had to run a db booster on both TV's with brighthouse. Those are now sitting on a shelf in my garage. The audio is stronger and clearer also.

If you have the opportinity to 'upgrade' to FIOS or another F/O system, over cable, I'd say go for it.

Since I am way out in the boonies, I doubt I will ever see fiber optic in this area. I was surprised to even get cable out here.

I've had FIOS about a year now. I agree with you Joe. Not only that, but they actually have good customer service reps, and the NFL network!
