Rotors and pads

Not that I need help, but have in my posession new Zinc coated crossed drilled rotors and Hawk pads to update my 87. Just put on new black Z06 wheels and now that they show the "guts" through the spoles, thought I'd update the stopping gear. Hawk pads supposed to have less brake dust.

Have put rotors and brakes on other cars but not the Vette. Got the Haynes manual and it looks pretty simple. Got some blue Lock-Tite for the bolts and anti-squeel for the pads. Large U-clamp to push the pistons in, so hopefully I'm all prepared to go at it.

Any useful info from anyone that I might need on replacing this stuff on an 84-87?

Can't say on a C4 but that sounds good for a C5..might need a BMFH and block of wood just in case one of the rotors stick a bit
