1988 Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette #1988-048, 44,500 miles.

Fully documented RPO B2K car with original vehicle invoice and window sticker, delivery documentation and MSO to De Nooyer Chevrolet in Albany, NY. Receipts for all work. Returned to Old Lyme in 1992 for HD Wonderbar upgrade.

Sold to second owner in 2002 and went to Florida. During his ownership, owner 2 rebuilt the transmission OD unit and undertook major performance enhancement at the hands of well-known builder Mike Norris. The turbos were returned to Callaway for their wastegate upgrade kit, the intake manifold base/plenum extrude honed and oversized AS&M runners installed. The car also received a Power Effects exhaust. Final tune is 419.9 hp & 581.9 tq to the wheels, so about 500 hp at the crank.

A long time friend bought the car in 2005 and it went to Georgia. It received a Ron Davis aluminum radiator sourced through Callaway. I bought it in 2015 and brought it to Arkansas, then to St. Louis last year. Throughout its life it has received regular maintenance and care. Receipts are on hand from 2002 to present and I’ll provide details on request. Nitto NT05s were mounted 2015/44,311 miles on refinished original Dymags.

I dearly love the car but seldom drive it. I also have a 94 ZR-1 that I drive pretty regularly. It’s time for another owner to enjoy the car and - I hope - get as much of a kick out of this iconic C4 as I have.

This is a fully drivable car that has seen the road in its life. It would show well locally and is a nice #3 car showing wear commensurate with being enjoyed. Clean as it is, it is not something you could roll off a trailer and submit for Bloomington Flight or NCRS certification as it sits. It has been and should be enjoyed.

Current Hagerty valuation is $20,300 with Z51 and a glass roof in #3 condition. Asking $17,500.
