Yep! He's telling you that you don't have to worry about your Grandfathers anymore, and
that they are both in a better place. I never knew either of my Grandfathers, they were
both gone before I was born, but I watched as my kids lost both of theirs. I know that
there are "special bonds" between kids and their Grandparents, and I just wish I could
have known my Grandfathers. Don't dwell on what just happened, instead focus on all
of those happy memories that you have of you and your Grandfather and SMILE when
you think of him. It's a very sad time, but our thoughts and prayers are with you
and your entire family.

Nicely said Andy. I totally agree. I didn't have the opportunity to know my grand parents either. The loss is never easy regardless of how old you are. I lost my 90 year old mother 5 years ago and I still feel the loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Amen brothers.

My dad's dad was killed before I was born and I was very young when my grandfather on my mom' side passed away, so the impact wasn't there.

But I was very close with my grandmother (we moved her in next door) and lived there with her for years.

It's tough losing a family member:(

I'm sorry for both your losses, but as Andy and Mark said, they're in a much better place now, looking down at you and saying, hey! Stop all that!...I'm fine now....

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Gordon

Condolences go out to both families...

I'm very sorry for both your losses. The pain will fade in time but the good memories of past times will be with you forever. The good news is, you'll see them again one day. God bless.

Yeah Keli, you guys are really going through a rough time. This sure puts a gloom on this time of the year for you all. Not much we can all do except to tell you that we are here if you need an ear to talk to or a shoulder to lean on...

The older we get, the more we face the loss of those close as life comes full circle. Try and remember the good times and the joy the relationships produced to ease your sorrow.

Our prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear that, it makes all the other problems in life less signinifcant. I lost my grandmother a couple of years ago and I remember that when I graduated from college I was able to buy my first car a Camaro convertable. When I got home that following summer I remember my grandmother asking to go for a ride. We drove all over the neighborhood and after she said she had never been in a convertable before and that it was just like she had imagined that she wanted to be the princess in the parade car. Everytime I think of her this is the first thing I think of and for that moment how happy she was. Great memories are the best thing to have when a loved on passes.
