End of Homecoming Season!
 

To All TBV Members

Well the end has arrived for the 2006 Homecoming season! We successfully finished up with Bloomingdale and Armwood last Friday night. Thanks to all who supported the two events and a special thanks to Jill Hampton and Buzz & Jackie Nielsen for acting as the club points of contact.

Tampa Bay Vettes supported 8 High Schools this year. There were 53 individuals who supplied 104 cars to handle the 8 homecomings. We collected $1,485 for charity! Please do not forget to send in your recommended organizations to Trisha Crabb as we will be voting on which ones will get the funds at the next meeting.

Special thanks to those who served as the club points of contact: Frank & JoAnn Crawford, Theresa Simpson, Jill Hampton, and Buzz & Jackie Neilsen.

And finally, thanks to all of those who gave up their cars and time to make this year a success. Whether it was one event you attended or five, your efforts were very much appreciated by me and certainly by the young ladies, their teacher sponsors, and their parents. I even know of one High School principal (Middleton) who had the ride of his life in my car!
