• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

The Cape Kennedy Corvette Club is having its 9th Annual 'Vettes At The Port' show, Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Saturday April 17, 2010. See attached flyer, in PDF format, for details.

With this show, we support the National Kidney Foundation. Featured during the show will be a poker walk & silent auction.

There are some great restaurants for your eating/drinking pleasure too! :icon_cheers:

Club member cars are DISPLAY ONLY. We are not part of judging. :NoNo:

Judging is people's choice.

Also attached is a picture of two Space Shuttle model choices that will represent 1st place trophies.

Since our club is 'tied' to the Space Center, the 1st place trophy, in each category, will be either one of the models depicted once a decision on which model to use is made. :cool3:

So, read the flyer :coffee1:, pay your fee, jump in your :vette:, and bring your face to my place!! :thankyou2: :IThankYou:

Makes me wish I still had my Vette :banghead:

Unfortunately I will be working in Jensen Beach that day.

Have a GREAT show as always!

Update:

Word has it that an astronaut will personally sign at least all 1st place trophies...and may sign all trophies.

Jon McBride, STS 41, might be in attendance as well...not confirmed.

He is also a C5 owner.

If he does appear, it will be a good opportunity to get your car autographed by him...bring Sharpies just in case!

And word has it also that one of our CKCC members, another Astronaut, Bruce Melnick, may also attend. He is a current, times two, C6 owner: a Z06 and a ZR1.

Again, neither are confirmed. Show up and find out!! :hehehe:
