Well, I didn't think my overall numbers would be higher, but I thought my baseline would be lower and my gains larger. I spent extra for the current-hot-premium parts and can't see they did any better than average. Of course, that's not a new story in the history of hot-rodding.
It's also possible that if my car already had more mods, like head/cam, I would have seen more of a difference.
The only thing I'm not happy with is the exhaust tone. We'll see if I get used to it.
Like you, this is probably just Stage 1. I'm still debating whether to go cam-only, heads/cam, stroker, FI, what.
Decision, decisions.
