Up for sale is my gorgeous 1987 z52 coupe 4+3 manual. It has 127,000 miles on the dash and counting, as i still use it on the weekends. I just had the heads rebuilt about a thousand miles ago, and the motor and tranny were re-done at 100,000 miles by a shop in Long Island called Corvettes Unlimited. I have put in so many new parts over the past year: New HEI distributor (the whole thing), new alternator, new battery, brake booster, headlights, clutch master and slave cylinders, and I just replaced the bulbs in the dashboard as well. There is probably much more but I just forgot. At 100,000 miles, when the motor and tranny were rebuilt, the previous owner put in a light Ligenfelter cam, bored out the motor to 355 (.20 over), put in a larger throttle body, full Flowmaster exhaust including longtube headers, and a Hypertech performance chip. The car runs and sounds like a champ. While the motor and transmission are flawless, the interior is not showroom condition. The usual rips, cracks, and wear marks are there but what do you expect from a car with 127,000 miles. I'm asking for $7000, but I'm open to offers. If any of you live close to the NYC area I welcome you to come check this car out. It really is one of a kind with its performance and sound.
