Huttons Seafood and More at routes 98 and 319

Connie and I have been talking about going to Hutton's Seafood for a long time. Connie knows the owner from when Connie was working at MyWay Seafood. So today seemed like a good day, and I had a hankering for softcrabs.

Wow! We're going to be making this a regular thing. I got the softcrab burger, and Connie got broiled shrimp. Prices are VERY reasonable, and the food was really good.

If you like fresh local seafood, none of that imported crap, and are in the area, definitely worth marking on your map and stopping in.

It's close to the intersections of routes 98 and 319, between Panacea and Crawfordville. There is Mike's Paint and Body Shop on one side of it, and a produce stand on the other. It's on the north side of the road. It's a small place, so keep a sharp eye out for it. But DEFINITELY worth stopping in.

Maybe I'll get two softcrab burgers next time...... :hehehe:

Yeah, prices are REAL reasonable.

I got a softcrab burger for something like $11 or so. Had two softcrabs on it. When you buy frozen or live softcrabs to cook up yourself, they will cost $6 or $7 each, if you can find them, AND you have to cook them up yourself. Yet at Huttons you get two of them cooked, on the bun, plus french fries.

Can't beat it with a stick. Matter of fact Connie and I are planning on going back there this afternoon. We're planning on making this a regular thing.
