After all this time(since december 2004) my dad finally asked for a cold air and basic tune for his Z16. So we visited him on Sunday, installed the cold air and did some very basic tuning. He always told me about how much faster this car is compared to his 71 LT1. I told him that he has'nt seen anything yet. We got finished, and he went out for a ride. Came back up his driveway with a big grin that couldn't be removed with a jackhammer. Monday evening he called and told that he was so much happier with the car. He reported a 1 mpg improvement and smoother running and acceleration. Now he wants headers..........think I gave him the bug!
So much for keeping the Z16 stock.
