No I'm not. Do you realize that the term "WOP" is an acronym for "With Out Papers"? You just agreed with EVERYTHING I said however you take my words out of context and that's where you are creating your difference of opinion. I said time and time again "by today's standards" they would be considered illegal. Since we did not have those type of immigration laws back then, there was no way to say they were "illegal." But say this happened today, they would be repatrioted. Again, those people were getting in here whether we wanted them to do it or not......no different then border crossers. The difference back then was they assimilated and we controlled the influx. We did not bend over backwards for them.
Secondly, you again confirmed what I said that WE, the U.S. controlled the influx of immigrants. The key word is CONTROL! I have repeated this again and again and again. For whatever reason, most likely $$$, the government will not CONTROL s#!t!!!!! Again, I repeat, I do not blame illegals for their actions because WE, the U.S., have lowered our standards to accomodate them. Again, why? I don't know.
Wouldn't it be nice if we had another "Ellis Island"? Why don't we? Again, I don't know.
To me, this seems like something that could be easily resolved but again $$$$$$$$. The illegals pi$sed all over their own cause with all of those ridiculous demonstrations. Again, something else I don't understand. What were they protesting? They were illegal, they have no rights to begin with! What's worse is whoever those idiots were that organized the whole thing, did it on May 1st and for those that don't know, that's International Labor Day for Socialist countries. What a wonderful message this sends to the rest of the world!!!
But again, we did nothing. Now, illegals are enboldened and the rest of us citizens are pis$ed at the whole thing. Great, what's next????
