You guys ever seen the cars that the Citrus County Sheriff has for their youth program? Here's a couple pictures:

I volunteer for the department with one of 5 new Taurus's. Not a bad car by the way. On my way out to the street a looked over and saw a brand new Yellow with black stripes SS Camaro. I thought one of the detectives must have just bought it. Turns out, the Sheriff department bought it to turn it into one of the Focus/DARE cars to impress the kids. You think they could have gotten away with the V6 instead of the 420+ hp SS version. Also heard it's the end of the fiscal year so any money for the department has to be spent before the end.

Just to show off a little, here's mine.

Nice cars.

I just saw the other day where Ford is coming out with a new Taurus SHO:dancer01:

Not a bad ride from what I can tell, especially for a 4 door family car.

I had a 93 SHO with the Yamaha engine. What a freaking nightmare to work on and the electronics on that thing were...well...possessed comes to mind:lmao:

You know, I never did understand that "spend whatevers left" mentality?

You'd think they could save it and add it to next years budget as well?

Oh well, we don't want to go there again:rofl1:

Thanks for volunteering your time and talents to the community brother:thumbsup::thumbsup:

We need more people like you.

Stay safe out there.

Great idea, hope it breaks down some barriers.

SS Camaro, I'd even play nice with my local LEO if he let me drive it once in awhile. :rofl1:

I was down in Venice on Friday and had the opportunity to sit in, touch, oogle, play with,,,,blah blah blah....the new Camaro.

Nice car:thumbsup:

Still some things I didn't like about it, but there were more that I probably did.

One things for sure. They left a very appropriate "spot" open on the starbord side of the engine. Just the right size and location for a little "boost":dancer01:

I also think there might be enough clearance from the cowl (unlike the 4th gens:() to place a roots style huffer (BM/Maggie, etc)

Now...a Camaro with a little something something and a set of red and blues.....something to think about?:D

I think Id be more worried about that Z06 cop car over this camaro cop car lol. 3100lbs and 500 horses is a lot, and you know damn well that cop didnt keep it stock lol.

I think the shock factor would be about the same, but as for being more worried about the Z06, be more worried about the radio....they're faster than either car!!:yesnod:
