Ran strong, shifted smooth, nice straight body, beautiful interior, really nice paint. The chrome and stainless looked good, total package virtually 100% rust-free .... eye-candy best describes its condition (if you like MGBs). But the undercarriage was wet, really wet, front to back, from oil and grease from seemingly everywhere. The area of the garage floor where the car was parked looked like it came out of a service station- it was so stained from new and old drippings. This was just not worth the effort. What a disappointment.
Beauty is skin deep and ugly goes to the bone.
