AR 15

I am interested in locating a good quality used AR. Only real requirement is barrel must be chrome lined and gun needs to be a quality (tight) fit.

Oops my bad gun needs to be reasonably priced.

Please send me a PM if you have such a weapon you are interested in selling.

What are prices for them going at the gun shows, Ken? Been a pretty long spell since I've stepped foot in a gun show.

If you can find a cheap lower receiver you could probably build your own at a reasonable cost. They aren't at all hard to put together.

You're right Rich. In years past I was a certified armorer on Colt M16/.AR's so that would be of little problem.

Used in a whole lot of cases is better. All the burrs and mfgs. millings have been worn off and most often the weapon tends to operate more smoothly.

Just checking to see what's out there. No rush just want to really be aware of what is available as I seldom search for guns. However without asking who knows.

I went to one of the gun shows here in Tallahassee this summer and looked around. Found a Colt H-Bar Sporter A-2 like mine selling for $1149.00. I still have the original receipt for mine which was $1189.00 so I guess those that are in good shape hold their value. That said, a friend of mine built one for around $600.00. It just depends on whether you want an original or not. While I like mine, and have not considered selling it, the allure of trading it for a nice Ak-47 has crossed my mind.

I suppose if Hillary becomes POTUS (Lord save us from the boneheads who would actually vote for that woman!), then gun prices will go up with people believing the availability will dry up.

shes stated she wants to ideally vastly reduce civilian firearms ownership and eliminate civilian ammo sales

I'm sure that all won't apply to the heavily armed army of folks that she will surround herself with if she gets into that office. But I guess that is different, now isn't it? HER life is worth protecting, not ours.
