Similar to Massachusetts Department of Motor Vehicles. They, in their infinite
wisdom, figured it would be cheaper for the state to stop sending out the renewal
notices, and just let the drivers figure it out themselves. They never told anyone
that the renewals were being stopped, and now the onus is on the drivers to
make sure that their licenses have not expired. In our case, it's more money
for the state if they stop you and your license has expired as well, so it's a
double win for them........no renewal notice costs, and fines to those who's
licenses have expired. Don't have a clue what would happen if you were caught
carrying with an expired CCW. I just KNOW that it CAN'T BE GOOD!!!!!
