We got a call from them dept of licensing this morning in response to my email and evidently out licenses don't expire till 2018...
I had to break out a magnifying loupe to be able to verify that. My magnifying glass I used yesterday made that "8" look like a "3" to both Connie and myself. So yeah, it must be a 7 year license. I thought 2 years sounded right, so that was why that helped reinforce the thought that the expiration was this year.
Now it is probably marked on my record that I am blind.
