Default WTB (Want To Buy) 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette - Coupe

Hello to All,

I'm currently looking to buy a 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette Coupe(Burgundy/Shale colors). I live in Las Vegas, NV. So it would be really nice to find one of these cars in the Tri-State Area(Cal, AZ & Utah). However, If I can find that right car/deal, I'm not opposed to buying in other states.

My perfect car would consist of the following:

1. Car has both tops.
2. Mileage between 1000 - 40,000. The lower the better!
3. Car has to be a coupe.
4. Clean Carfax. In a perfect world, one or two owners. Minimal shop repairs. Car is in proper condition. (nothing needed)
5. All original or as close to it as possible.
5. Looks and drives like new.

I'm looking to spend in the area of $15,000-$23,000 for the right car. I have attempted to buy 2 of these cars, one being absolutely perfect(for my standards). Both deals fell apart due to me using "Lightstream Financing (Suntrust bank) asking both owners to provide the finance company a copy of the cars "lien free title". So I have went in a different direction and have now secured the funds to pay cash for the right car.

I am no expert, however I know a little bit about Corvettes. I have looked at many 2003's over the past couple of months and have a good idea on what I'm looking for.

Below is a little about me as a person and Corvette owner:

I bought my first Corvette at 50 years of age (4 years ago March). It is a 1992 Coupe having 48K on the clock (now 70K). The car was in nice shape when I bought it. I paid $8500 for the car. At the time that was all I could afford. Fast Forward 4 years later, that same car has been driven almost every weekend and into multiple states while doing corvette runs/shows with multiple clubs. I currently belong to Vegas Valley Vettes here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have had the car serviced by a Chevrolet dealer and have did some minor work to freshen up areas that have deteriorated over the years (weather stripping, upgraded the factory Bose Gold with newer Bose gold pieces, improved head lights etc.) I have one multiple awards in 3 different states with this car. I share this information trying to show you that if you care for your car as I do for mine, I will do the same thing with the car I buy from you if the opportunity presents itself. Buying a Corvette changed my life. If I am to get another one, I will try and sell mine to someone that will get as much enjoyment as I have.

Below are a few links to allow you to check out the car club and some other information to help you get a feel for who you may be selling your car to.

On paper, this is the perfect car. However being in Florida, I'm looking at close to 28K(out of my budget) to bring her home.
