thanks to my 13 year old I am now a myspace addict. I told her if she had one then I had to get one and be her friend. It may sound strange but we actually got closer through myspace. You can get a really good idea of what's going on in your kid's head by the answers on their surveys and the bulletins they post.
Now I am on it as much as she is and have found tons of friends I had not seen in years. So yes, you have to be careful, but it can also be a positive thing.
