Well, I really don't know what font was originally used, and it may actually be a moot point anyway. After having some problems with letters coming loose (for a while the front windshield said
Co vetteFlorida.com), I took the car to a local place and had them replace the front and back decals. And the font they used is not the same. The lettering appears to be somewhat thicker, but real similar. I really don't think the actual font makes very much difference, as the logo of this site doesn't use anything similar anyway.
It's not like I'm intending to become a business with this and need to protect copyrights, trademarks, and stuff like that where the font could be important.
Maybe I could find a font that would be more readable at a distance by being taller, but only 8 inches long to fit into an envelope nicely.
