Nov 6-8 1987 Route 66 Reunion
Shortly after reading about this Vette reunion in the March 1988 Nostalgic Cars magazine ,my wife and I stayed at the old Days Inn on Route 60 near Tampa. There were some displays on the lobby wall about the last episode of this tv show being filmed there.
In 2002 we went back to see if they were still there. They were gone and the desk clerk and his manager assured me that nothing about Route 66 would have been filmed there as Route 66 was in the midwest. Well, I still have the magazine and that was the place! Does anyone know what happened to those displays? Maybe they are in a dusty closet there. They would be a Corvette collectors dream.
