Years ago a friend had a car shipped from NY to WA. Part of it was rail and then auto transport (truck). They missed the delivery date by a month (late) and the radio had been stolen. I would only ship via a private carrier and then there is no guarantee.
No way in heil would I ship my Vette or any other car that I cared about.
