For sale is a 1978 Corvette with a rare Daytona body. My father purchased the car 6-7 years ago and it was 95% complete (a lot of little things in the interior and exterior detailing) and he never had a chance to finish before his recent passing.
It's a 25th anniversary '78 with a custom imsa Daytona body kit; the last guy that looked at it raced Greenwood cars and seemed to think it was an actual Greenwood body, but I really have no idea. When my dad purchased it, he was told that kit alone cost over $20K.
The car took nearly 20 years to get to where it is now and was driven rarely during the time that we've owned it. It's been sitting for much of the last 2-3 years (last registered in 2016), but was running 2 months ago. It definitely needs a new battery and the actual mileage is unknown.
If you want a unique weekend cruiser that will get as much attention as a Batmobile and are willing to put in a little sweat equity than this is the ride for you!
