Actually I think the Niceville area is pretty darn nice. Not far from Destin, which is one of the prettiest beaches around, and those crystal clear streams make for an interesting terrain. Certainly not as warm as south Florida in the Winter months, but still a far cry from living in North Dakota or somewhere.
